Welcome to Grays Park Masjid

The objective of the association is for the benefit of the residents of the borough of thurrock in the county of essex, in particular muslims by:

1. Providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education.
2. The advancement of the islamic religion, including the establishment of a mosque, and
3. The provision of recreation other leisure-time occupation of the inhabitants of the area of benefit in the intersects of social welfare and so that their conditions of life may be improved.

OUR SERVICES

Daily Prayers

Grays Park Masjid caters to the five daily prayers throughout the day. However, it remains closed outside of prayer times during the summer. The masjid currently accommodates approximately 250-300 people, with about a fifth of them attending regularly.

Weekly Friday Jumua'h

Since the formation of Grays Park Masjid, Friday Jumua’h prayer has been regularly established, attracting a diverse range of regular attendees. Despite space limitations, the masjid caters to a cumulative congregation of 400-500 individuals. Attendees include a diverse mix of community members.

Weekend Islamic Studies

Grays Park Masjid offers comprehensive weekend Islamic studies covering Al Qura'n, Al Hadith, Tajweed, Fiqh, Adab, Tareekh, Dua, Arabic language, and Mother language. These classes provide a rich educational experience for attendees of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings and traditions.

Weekdays Islamic Studies

Grays Park Masjid offers comprehensive weekdays Islamic studies covering Al Qura'n, Al Hadith, Tajweed, Fiqh, Adab, Tareekh, Dua, Arabic language, and Mother language. These classes provide a rich educational experience for attendees of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings and traditions.
